Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a procurement professional to drive regional electronic purchasing strategy and build strong supplier partnerships in the US. You will work with stakeholders to maximize cost savings and ensure quality across PCBs and e-motor components.

The role requires 2+ years in category management or strategic procurement, data analytics, and proficiency in MS Office including PowerBI. US work authorization is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years in category management or strategic procurement for electronic components.
• Strong data analytics and supplier management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including PowerBI, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement the regional electronic purchasing strategy with stakeholders.
• Conduct market studies and develop onshore strategic suppliers for cost savings.
• Identify and develop global/regional suppliers to meet requirements.
• Lead strategic supplier meetings and manage price/framework agreements.
• Support regional sourcing/RFQ projects and oversee sourcing implementation.
• Drive regional tariff mitigation initiatives.
