Job summary

HM Electronics Inc. in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Repair Technician III for the 2nd shift (2:30 - 11:00pm). The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing electronic equipment, reading schematics and drawings, and performing precision soldering.

You will lead, troubleshoot, and document corrective actions while supporting other technicians on mid to high complexity products. A 4+ year background in electronics repair is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent (education/experience).
• 4+ years electronic equipment diagnosis and repair experience.
• Ability to read/interpret manufacturing drawings and schematics.
• Excellent soldering skills and precise component handling.

Responsibilities

• Rework with minimal supervision and limited instructions.
• Troubleshoot to component level and prepare repair estimates.
• Validate corrective actions and test equipment for conformance.
• Lead technician support to others and document issues.
