Job summary

HME in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Repair Technician II for the 1st shift (5:30 am – 2:00 pm) to troubleshoot, repair, and rework customer equipment. You will document corrective actions, perform tests, and ensure conformance to standards.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in Electronics Technology and 2+ years of electronics repair experience. Strong soldering and schematic-reading skills are required, with ability to use common hand tools and PC basics.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years (4 years preferred) of electronic equipment diagnosis and repair or related field experience.
• Excellent soldering skills and ability to read manufacturing drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and processes equipment returned by customers for repair or exchange.
• Performs rework modifications, updates, and realignments to return equipment to working order.
• Validates and documents corrective actions and tests equipment to specifications.
• Identifies problems and reports them to the Engineering Lead or Supervisor.
