Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is seeking an Electronics Repair Lab Specialist for the Perry, Ohio site. The role involves planning, troubleshooting, refurbishment and repairs of electrical and electronic items, including developing test procedures and acceptance testing.

Candidates should have strong electrical/electronic knowledge, solid computer and communication skills, and the ability to obtain necessary repair qualifications. Overtime, call-ins and off-shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of electrical/electronic devices and circuits.
• Strong computer, communication and time management skills.
• Ability to obtain/maintain electrical/electronic repair qualifications.
• Relevant experience in electrical/electronic repair or servicing.
• Willingness to overtime, call-ins and off-shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and perform troubleshooting, refurbishment and repairs of electrical/electronic items (circuit boards, power supplies).
• Develop test procedures and test set-ups for serviced items and complete prescribed acceptance testing.
• Assist in dedication testing and failure analysis as needed.
• Lead others with thorough understanding of projects and testing processes.
