Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Elkridge, MD, seeks an Electronics Engineering Manager 2 to lead manufacturing and industrial engineering efforts across site operations. You will manage a team of about nine engineers and specialists, drive continuous improvement, and align ME and IE activities with production goals.

This role requires a BS in a STEM field with 8 years (or MS with 6) and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience; or MS with 6 years.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environments and leading people.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Strong cross-functional and leadership capabilities across operations, facilities, and programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering (ME) and industrial engineering (IE) groups to optimize production operations.
• Plan, monitor, and develop career growth, goals, and succession plans for team members.
• Coordinate with operations to prioritise engineering support, resolve production issues, and improve yield and cycle time.
• Drive standardization of processes and tools and support Lean, continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate status and impact to stakeholders with clear leadership reporting.
