Job summary

ZF seeks an ADAS System Instrumentation Engineer in Farmington Hills, MI to lead hands-on testing of advanced driver assistance features. You will install and calibrate measurement systems, robotic controllers, and data loggers while collaborating with system and algorithm engineers.

With 5+ years of relevant experience and a BS in engineering, you will troubleshoot equipment, design practical instrument solutions, and travel locally as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in ADAS testing or instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and vehicle testing principles.
• Hands-on problem-solving with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Be a key technical contributor supporting ADAS system and component testing programs.
• Install, calibrate, and operate ADAS measurement systems and robotics.
• Support and train test and algorithm engineers in instrumentation usage.
• Troubleshoot test equipment and respond promptly to urgent needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure repeatable test execution.
