QuEra Computing, Inc. is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to design and develop advanced power systems for quantum computing platforms in Boston, MA. This position ensures robust and low-noise power delivery through the entire engineering lifecycle, from concept to production.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in power electronics, with strong skills in low-noise design and technical documentation. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required, and a Master's degree is preferred.

At QuEra Computing designs, develops, and tests advanced power delivery and control systems that support neutral-atom quantum computing platforms. This includes low-noise power conversion, precision voltage/current regulation, and scalable power architectures for sensitive experimental and production quantum systems.
This role spans the full engineering lifecycle—from concept and system architecture through prototyping, validation, and deployment—ensuring robust, stable, and low-noise power for cutting-edge quantum hardware.
This position is based onsite in Boston, MA.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
5–7 years of experience in power electronics engineering or related fields, ideally involving high-performance, low-noise, or precision hardware systems.
125,000 - 160,000. We consistently monitor external market data and update base salary ranges accordingly. We determine base compensation decisions on several factors, including geographic placement, role-specific knowledge, skills, and/or experience. In addition to our base salary offerings, we also provide equity grants for all new hires.
