Job summary

Under limited supervision, you will assemble components, perform basic testing, and assist with process improvements while adhering to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical Certificate in related field; 5-10 years of directly related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to read worksheets, wiring diagrams and bills of material.

Responsibilities

• Follow production drawings, samples and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Read schematics and work instructions to determine required parts and steps.
• Solder and assemble components on PC boards and panels using hand tools and soldering equipment.
• Perform tests and inspections, rework and repair as needed to meet specs.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and quality checks are completed.
