Job summary

Safran Group in North America, Texas, seeks an Electronics Avionics Technician Level 3 to diagnose and repair avionics units to SRU and component levels. You’ll use digital test tools, oscilloscopes and circuit analysis to isolate faults in complex systems.

Responsibilities include FAA-compliant repairs, disassembly/assembly, thorough documentation, and adherence to quality and safety standards. FAA Repairman certification and 5+ years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and three years of related experience or training.
• Five or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination.
• FAA regulations knowledge and ability to follow CMM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Test and diagnose avionics units down to SRU and component levels.
• Perform repairs on aviation units in compliance with FAA regulations and CMM.
• Disassemble, clean, and inspect parts; reassemble to spec.
• Document all activities and maintain part control.
• Support shop compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Train others on product lines and troubleshooting methods.
• Develop repair solutions when parts are unavailable.
