Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Clifton, NJ is seeking an Electronics Warfare Systems Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership for architecture, development, integration, and validation of complex aerospace systems.

You will oversee requirements decomposition, interface management, risk assessment, and system-level performance, while coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams through the full program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 9+ years of related experience; or 7 years with a graduate degree; or 13 years without a degree.
• Secret clearance required, ability to obtain higher levels.
• Experience leading aerospace development programs with systems engineering scope.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical authority for system architecture, EW functions, avionics integration, interfaces, and controls.
• Lead requirements decomposition, allocation, and cross‑domain traceability across hardware, software, and mission systems.
• Define interfaces across avionics, sensors, and command/control elements; manage risk and trade studies.
• Oversee flight and system control function development, including stability and autonomy support.
• Direct system integration strategy, supplier oversight, and lifecycle program reviews.
