Smith+Nephew in Oklahoma City is seeking an Electronic Technician III to perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and testing of electromechanical medical instruments using approved docs and schematics.

The role requires hands-on work, independent problem solving, and adherence to quality and productivity standards. Travel is minimal, and opportunities exist to support continuous improvement and technical guidance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing complex electronic systems.
• Experience with schematics, wiring diagrams and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, adjust, and test instruments per procedures.
• Document repairs and testing in DHRs and quality systems.
• Create labels and package instruments for shipment.
• Support daily work cell performance metric tracking and reporting.
• Evaluate repair requirements and prepare customer quotations.
