Job summary

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED with 2 years’ electronics maintenance experience; Texas driver’s license is required, and related hazardous work experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; 30 college credit hours preferred.
• Two years of experience in repair and maintenance of sophisticated electronic apparatus.
• Valid Texas driver’s license; wastewater licenses may be required for certain plants.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and blueprints; basic electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation and telemetry equipment.
• Keep records of work performed and manage maintenance files and work orders.
• Maintain safety equipment and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Lead duties for junior electricians, including training and routine instructions.
• Respond to critical equipment failures and support plant operations during emergencies.
