Trinity River Authority in Dallas, Texas, is seeking an Electronic Technician to perform maintenance and calibration of electronic components and digital equipment. Position Summary: This position, under direct supervision, performs a variety of work relating to the maintenance and calibration of electronic components and digital equipment with frequent opportunities to plan and make decisions relative to details of assigned duties.
Salary: Minimum $21.33 per hour, Mid $27.73 per hour, commensurate with experience and skill set. Includes an excellent benefit package with 24 days of PTO, employer‑paid health and life insurance, pension plan, and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not regularly provide work leadership or full personnel management to any employees.
Financial Responsibility: May order supplies, equipment parts, materials, and equipment for department use as approved by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Physical Demands: This position requires passing a physical and physical ability assessment specific to the position.
Working Conditions: Exposure to weather, odor, noise, chemical hazards, gases, and dust; standing for prolonged periods; walking up and down several flights of stairs; climbing and descending ladders; working at heights; and working in tight or confined spaces.
Tools and Equipment: Precision test equipment, electrically insulated hand tools, two‑way radio, power tools, calibration and maintenance equipment, analog and digital equipment, office equipment, and pickup truck.
