Job summary

Active Security Consulting LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to design and document integrated electronic security systems, networks, and associated support systems for enterprise customers. You will serve as the technical authority on architecture, configuration management, and quality across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include developing integration approaches for access control, CCTV, and network infrastructure; providing post-sale engineering support during commissioning; and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum seven years of relevant experience or equivalent with certifications preferred.
• Industry certifications for integrated security and network infrastructure are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architecture and engineering designs for enterprise security systems.
• Provide post-sale engineering support to installation, service, and commissioning teams.
• Program, configure, test, and validate security devices and integrations.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues impacting system performance.
• Evaluate new products and technologies; advise on standardization and adoption.
• Train and mentor technicians, service and sales teams on technical topics.
• Ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and internal standards.
