About the Job

Be at the forefront of validating next-generation infotainment and telematics ECUs that power modern connected vehicles. As a Senior Electrical Characterization Engineer, you will lead electrical validation and characterization efforts, ensuring performance, reliability, and production readiness across complex electronic systems. This role offers high visibility, hands‑on technical ownership, and the opportunity to collaborate across engineering teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions.

Your Role
  • Develop and execute detailed electrical characterization and validation test plans for ECUs across multiple versions and revisions
  • Perform bench‑level electrical testing to validate design integrity, performance, and reliability
  • Own module‑level design verification activities to ensure ECUs meet product and manufacturing requirements
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Electrical Engineering teams to define test strategies and validation criteria
  • Support development of scalable test hardware and software automation frameworks
  • Analyze results and deliver clear, structured reporting to stakeholders, driving data‑informed decisions
Your Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical characterization, validation, or design verification of electronic systems
  • Hands‑on experience with ECU testing, preferably within infotainment or telematics systems
  • Strong background in bench testing, signal measurement, and lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, etc.)
  • Experience developing or supporting automated test environments (hardware and/or software)
Compensation

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $68,911 to $161,544.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to geographic location, education and qualifications, certifications and licenses, relevant experience and skills, seniority and performance, market and business consideration, internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
