Job summary

Medical Device Recruiters Inc is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer to own the full lifecycle of electromechanical surgical products, from concept through prototyping, testing, and launch.

The role is hands-on and requires 5+ years of engineering experience with knowledge of FDA/ISO requirements, collaborating across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Product Management teams in the Fort Myers-Naples area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Knowledge of FDA/ISO requirements.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to new product development from concept through launch.
• Design and develop electromechanical components and systems.
• Own technical projects and work with cross-functional teams.
• Prototype, test, troubleshoot, and optimize designs.
• Support manufacturing and product improvements.
• Apply DFM principles to improve designs and processes.
