HII Newport News Shipbuilding is seeking an engineering professional to join the E50 Digital Initiatives group. You will apply electrical, electronic and mechanical principles to create and test prototype systems, while coordinating with NAVSEA/NNL and managing project tasks.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering with 9+ years of exempt experience, or higher degrees with corresponding years of experience. Relocation assistance is available, and interim clearance is required to start.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering with 9+ years exempt experience.
• Master's Degree with 7+ years relevant professional experience.
• Ph.D. with 4+ years experience.
• ABET-accredited engineering program required.

Mansioni

• Applies electrical, electronic and mechanical principles to components and systems; constructs developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components; and performs quality testing.
• Supports design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems.
• Interacts with NAVSEA/NNL and manages project activities related to Digital Initiatives.
