Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering University degree from a recognized university.
• Exposure to telecom electronic system packaging (mechanical design).
• 10+ years design experience an asset.
• Understanding of thermal design for electronic equipment.
• Knowledge of sheet metal/plastics/die casting.
• Knowledge of PTC PRO/E CREO tool.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development of complex mechanical designs.
• Develop designs with guidance and direction for various materials.
• Interface with supply chain focusing on manufacturability.
• Responsible for planning and execution of prototype builds.
• Provide sizing and estimates of work for product development.
• Make decisions to deliver on goals with supervision.

Mechanical Engineering University degree
