Qualifications
Mechanical Engineering University degree from a recognized university.
Exposure to telecom electronic system packaging (mechanical design).
10+ years design experience an asset.
Understanding of thermal design for electronic equipment.
Knowledge of sheet metal/plastics/die casting.
Knowledge of PTC PRO/E CREO tool.
Responsibilities
Participate in the design and development of complex mechanical designs.
Develop designs with guidance and direction for various materials.
Interface with supply chain focusing on manufacturability.
Responsible for planning and execution of prototype builds.
Provide sizing and estimates of work for product development.
Make decisions to deliver on goals with supervision.
