Job summary

Rexel USA in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Assembly Technician to join our Parts Super Center team. You will assemble, test, troubleshoot, and ensure quality of electromechanical assemblies, while training junior technicians and supporting ISO processes.

You will read drawings, wire components, perform electrical tests, and manage inventory as part of daily duties, contributing to on-time delivery and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Assembly, Quality Control, or Inventory Management.
• Prior experience in mechanical assembly of electromechanical products.
• Demonstrated experience performing electrical testing on assemblies (use of multimeter, oscilloscope, and continuity testing).
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and interpret engineering drawings, bills of material and work instructions.
• Install and wire electrical components into mechanical assemblies per schematics and/or wiring diagrams.
• Perform required electrical testing and verification of assembled units using test equipment.
• Utilize various hand tools, measuring tools and other standard power hand tools to complete work tasks.
• Test finished product according to schematics and/or wiring diagram.
• Assemble product according to schematics and/or wiring diagram.
• Verify items and quantities on the pick list shipping out per Work Orders; pack finished product per instructions.
• Support ISO Certification and audits; participate in ISO yearly training.
• Lead one-on-one buddy training for Level I and Level II Assembly Technicians.
• Assist in inventory management.
