Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley is seeking an Expert Level Electromagnetics Engineer to join the E3 Design Integration Team. You will develop EMC/EMI requirements and perform CEM analyses across aerospace systems.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related field with relevant disciplines.
• 9+ years of related work experience or equivalent.
• Eligible for US export controls and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate EMC/EMI requirements for various systems and components.
• Design architectures to integrate components into higher level systems.
• Perform trade studies, modeling, and simulations for predictive electromagnetic analyses.
• Define and conduct tests to validate performance against requirements.
• Support supplier electromagnetic testing for compliance with procedures and standards.
• Collect and analyze data on supplier performance to ensure compliance to requirements.
• Provide lifecycle support from manufacturing to customer use with engineering solutions.
• Assist project management with statements, budgets, schedules, and status reporting.
• Work under general supervision.
