Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking an electrical/electro-mechanical assembler to perform complex wiring, harness assembly, and related tasks under limited supervision. You will work from electrical schematics, BOMs and instructions to build and repair assemblies for high reliability applications in aerospace, defense and industrial markets.

Responsibilities include wire preparation, soldering, crimping, harness routing, testing (continuity, IR), documenting workmanship, and supporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and trade certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of electromechanical assembly experience.
• Experience with wire & cable harness assembly and soldering.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and BOMs; lean manufacturing knowledge is a plus.
• IPC/J soldering certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform wire preparation, stripping, tinning, termination.
• Hand solder wires and cables to high density/low profile connectors.
• Crimp, stake, fasten and secure wires and connectors using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Assemble complex wire harnesses per schematics, diagrams, and BOMs.
• Route harnesses, perform testing (continuity, IR) and inspections.
• Support First Article Assembly and address drawing discrepancies.
• Document workmanship and quality logs; follow safety procedures.
