Job Summary

Performs advanced and supervisory work in electrical maintenance and repair. Oversees installation, replacement, and repair of electrical systems. Supervises Electricians and other personnel, working independently with initiative and judgment.

Essential Functions
  1. Oversees inspection, testing, troubleshooting of electrical equipment; develops maintenance plans.
  2. Estimates project time and materials; reviews wiring layouts for compliance.
  3. Leads, trains staff, and evaluates performance.
  4. Inspects electrical systems for hazards and code compliance.
  5. Maintains records, interprets blueprints, and prepares reports.
  6. Plans and oversees installation and long-term maintenance programs.
  7. Verifies materials, conducts training, and performs other trades work as needed.
Knowledge and Skills
  1. Knowledge of high voltage equipment, motors, switchgear.
  2. Understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
  3. Technical expertise and leadership skills.
  4. Estimating skills for time, materials, and labor.
  5. Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot.
  6. Proficiency with tools and testing equipment.
  7. Customer service and communication skills.
  8. Relationship-building abilities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Five years of electrical work experience.
Licenses and Other Requirements
  • Texas Master Electrician License (current or equivalent).
  • Texas Journeyman Electrical License.
  • Valid driver's license; some roles require CDL.
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and emergency shifts; weather and emergency call-outs may apply.
Salary Range

$27.45 - $32.58 per hour, starting salary based on qualifications.
