Job summary

Power Engineering Services, a Quanta Services Company, is seeking Sr. Electrical Testing Technicians (NETA 4) to join our Texas markets. You will supervise large projects and crews, perform complex investigations, and own the final test report delivered to the customer.

This role requires NETA Level 4, 10+ years in electrical testing, and a strong background in NEC/NESC and NFPA 70E. Travel to job sites and off-hours work are expected.

Qualifications

• NETA Level 4 certification required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical testing.
• Experience supervising multiple crews and projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NESC/NFPA 70E and related standards.
• Ability to travel to job sites and work off-hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise large projects and multiple crews from initiation through closeout.
• Perform complex investigations, tests, and evaluations on power systems and equipment.
• Own the final test report package and approve work of junior technicians.
• Serve as the primary field contact for scope, change conditions, and escalations.
• Establish safe work practices including energized work permitting and NFPA 70E compliance.
• Mentor and train junior technicians (NETA 1–3) and support certification progress.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop test procedures for non-standard scopes.
• Support estimating and project planning with scopes of work and resources.
• Ensure compliance with NETA standards and customer specifications throughout testing.
• Drive quality and standardization across crews.
