Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer Principal/Specialist to design and test complex PCBs with micro-controllers and RF components. The role emphasizes high-efficiency power supply design and analog conditioning, with potential FPGA work.

US citizenship and secret clearance eligibility are required, with willingness to travel. Experience: typically 5+ years for Principal, 8+ for Specialist, with an Associates or technical degree and strong test/measurement proficiency.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates Degree in Electronics Technology or technical degree preferred.
• Experience with complex PCBs, micro-processor and controller integration.
• Ability to design high-efficiency power supplies and analog signal conditioning.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain a SECRET clearance and travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex technical test functions supporting production activities.
• Diagnose and correct equipment and system malfunctions.
• Write and interpret specifications for designing, maintaining, calibrating electronic systems.
• Prepare reports and graphs for process documentation.
