Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineering Technician for production of a range of electronic systems. You will design and support complex PCBs, power supplies, analog conditioning, RF components and sensors, with potential FPGA experience. U.S. citizenship and SECRET clearance are required.

The role emphasizes test and verification, documentation, and collaboration with engineers and production teams to ensure high-quality results.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of electronics technology experience with an associate degree.
• Ability to communicate and interface with manufacturing teams to meet schedules.
• Capability to guide junior technicians and maintain safe lab practices.
• Willingness to travel and obtain/maintain SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of complex test functions related to production activities, including setup, operation, calibration and testing of electronic assemblies.
• Diagnose and correct equipment and system malfunctions.
• Write and interpret specifications for designing, maintaining and calibrating electronic systems.
• Prepare reports, charts and graphs as part of process documentation.
