Job summary

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with relevant experience.
  • 5+ years in electrical product testing or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with customer specs and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of MSHA, UL, IEEE, ANSI and NEMA standards.
  • Experience working with control systems and PLCs.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehend and follow shop procedures, standard practice instructions, prints and diagrams.
  • Review product standards to determine proper testing procedures.
  • Ensure department verifies proper or faulty components per specs.
  • Specify, procure and implement new test equipment.
  • Train associates in procedures, prints, diagrams, PLCs and related tests.
  • Operate tools and maintain clean, safe work area; observe safety/quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design and Production Control to resolve issues.
