Symbotic is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead the development and deployment of manufacturing test solutions for complex electromechanical and robotic systems. You will drive electrical test architecture, create scalable fixtures, and mentor engineers across sites.

The role requires depth in hardware design, debugging, automation, and cross‑functional leadership to deliver production‑ready test capabilities and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of hands‑on hardware design and test experience.
• Proven schematic capture, PCBA design, and hardware bring‑up.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design and power electronics.
• Experience with test instrumentation and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of electrical schematics, PCBA and interface boards for test fixtures.
• Own hardware bring‑up including component selection and debugging.
• Develop scalable test systems with DAQ, relays, multiplexers, and signal conditioning.
• Build automated test software (Python) for control, data logging, and diagnostics.
• Perform advanced electrical debugging with scopes, analyzers, and probes.
• Lead deployment, yield improvements, and failure analysis across sites.
• Analyze test data to drive reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
