Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to lead automated test systems and electronics testing on onsite projects in Madison, AL. You will develop test strategies, create plans, and design equipment to validate products and support production and depot-level testing.

The role requires 8+ years in test engineering, strong troubleshooting, and proficiency with automated test tools. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 8+ years of test engineering experience.
Experience developing test plans, procedures, and automated testing solutions.
Proficiency with test equipment platforms such as DIT-MCO, CableScan, Cirris, PXI.
Experience designing test equipment, fixtures, and hardware solutions.
Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Experience analyzing test results and preparing technical reports and deliverables.
Knowledge of manufacturing, production, depot-level testing, and QA processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with open-source software and commercial test development environments.

Responsibilities

Review customer requirements and specifications to develop compliant test strategies and testing solutions.
Develop cost estimates and technical inputs for proposals and testing requirements.
Create test plans, procedures, scripts, and programs for validation, qualification, production, and depot-level testing.
Design, develop, and integrate custom test equipment, fixtures, and automated test solutions.
Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements and DFT enhancements.
Document test activities, findings, corrective actions, and engineering recommendations.
Ensure testing procedures comply with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing effectiveness and product quality.
Collaborate with vendors to improve testing processes and equipment.
Travel occasionally to support customer, supplier, or testing requirements.
