• High school diploma or GED required with 4–7 years of drilling industry experience.
• Must be computer literate and able to analyze and report to management.
• Fluent in English; reading/writing comprehension of complex instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist higher level tech with troubleshooting rig control systems.
• Assist higher level tech with commissioning rig control systems.
• Troubleshoot simple electrical issues on rig control systems.
• Commission generators, fix generator controls and VFD drives and controls.
• Calibrate sensors via HMI and program generator control components.
