New Flyer, a leader in North America’s heavy-duty transit buses, seeks a Senior Electrical Technician in Grand Forks, ND. You will program, troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical systems, HVAC, and related controls in a manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a dynamic environment. With 5+ years in electrical/mechanical diagnostics and preferred high voltage and PLC experience, you will handle wiring schematics and system instructions while supporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in electrical and mechanical diagnosis and repair.
• High voltage experience a plus.
• PLC, ladder logic, AC and DC system experience.
• Experience reading engineering documents, wiring schematics and instructions.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Perform commissioning on high voltage systems as designated by NF checkouts and SWIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high voltage system failures using diagnostic equipment.
• Install software, diagnose and repair Customer Installed Option systems (AVA/AVL, video, destination sign, NF Connect).
• Train and support junior employees as needed.
• Maintain tools and equipment in neat condition.
• Understand ECN and EAD processes.
• Fill in as Electrician I when needed.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work with minimal supervision.
