You will work on commercial vehicle electric drive systems, high- and low-voltage wiring, CAN networks, power electronics, EMI/EMC, and DFMEA, delivering robust electrical architectures and diagnostic methods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical troubleshooting in automotive/commercial vehicle systems.
• Strong wiring harness design knowledge and field diagnostics (HV/LV).
• Experience with CAN tools, data logging and network debugging.
• Understanding of electrical architectures, power distribution and integration.
• Familiarity with diagnostics, fault codes and signal validation.
• Ability to apply structured problem-solving methods (8D, DMAIC).
• Ability to analyze data to validate hypotheses and fixes.
• Comfortable in fast-paced environments with incomplete information.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial vehicles and EV-related subsystems.
• Debug CAN networks, analyze signals, and isolate network faults.
• Assess wiring harness issues, HV/LV routing and connectors for reliability.
• Support DFMEA with focus on real-world failure modes and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate fixes and improvements.

Primary Systems Supported

• Commercial vehicle electric drive systems
• Lithium-ion battery systems and associated high-voltage architectures

Core Technical Focus Areas

• CAN communication debugging, including SAE J1939 analysis, signal tracing, and network fault isolation
• Wiring harness issues (HV & LV): routing, chafing, shielding, connector integrity, and circuit continuity
• HV and LV junction boxes: failure modes, sealing, busbar integrity, and electrical distribution faults
• Power electronics: inverters, DCDCs, and associated interface/debug challenges
• EMI/EMC investigation and mitigation in vehicle environments
• Electrical distribution system performance and robustness improvements
• DFMEA support with a focus on real-world failure modes and corrective actions

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong track record of hands-on electrical troubleshooting in automotive or commercial vehicle systems
• Deep understanding of wiring harness design, failure modes, and field diagnostics (HV and LV)
• Experience with CAN tools, data logging, and network-level debugging
• Familiarity with electrical architectures, power distribution, and system integration challenges
• Working knowledge of control hardware, including:
