Job summary

Semiconductor Engineering is seeking a senior hardware design lead to direct the design and architecture of Power Distribution and safety circuitry for building systems, from AC medium voltage to DC low voltage, ensuring compliance with global standards.

You will drive the hardware development lifecycle for multiple concurrent projects, provide technical leadership and mentorship, and serve as the primary technical interface across mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to align on system

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of Power Distribution and safety circuitry for building systems, from AC medium voltage to DC low voltage, ensuring global standards.
• Drive and execute the hardware development lifecycle for multiple concurrent, high-complexity instrument projects from concept to production release.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, fostering excellence and best practices.
• Serve as the primary technical interface in cross-functional teams to define system architecture, specifications, and robust integration strategies.
• Act as senior customer-facing engagement lead, aligning complex technical requirements with project milestones.
• Oversee adherence to product requirements, schedules, and budgets across multiple projects with risk management.
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards (Semi S2 and S8, NFPA, NEC, IEC), ensuring designs meet regulatory requirements.

• Oversee and ensure rigorous adherence to product requirements, schedules, and budgetsacross multiple projects, implementing robust risk management strategies.
• Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of relevant electrical codes and safety standards(Semi S2 and S8, NFPA, NEC, IEC standards), ensuring all designs meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
