Job summary

A leading defense solutions provider in Washington, DC is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical management of products supporting the VIRGINIA Class Submarine Program. Key responsibilities include risk assessment for Electrical Systems, providing engineering assessments, and supporting the integration of system changes. A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience are required. Must be eligible for a Secret security clearance and ability to travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years technical experience in submarine electrical systems.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
• Excellent communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assess risks for Electrical Systems for VIRGINIA Class Ships.
• Provide engineering assessment and problem resolution.
• Support integration and execution of VIRGINIA Electrical system concept changes.
