Job summary

Loft Federal is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to lead electrical design across multiple satellite missions. You will coordinate with program management, systems engineering, and discipline engineering to meet mission requirements and drive hardware success.

You will contribute to the success of spacecraft missions, collaborate with a diverse team, and apply deep knowledge of electrical and RF subsystems within a fast-paced aerospace environment. U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer with detailed knowledge of spacecraft electrical architectures.
• Prior experience delivering a spacecraft to orbit and/or space-qualified hardware to a customer.
• Comprehensive system-level knowledge and experience in Electrical and RF subsystems.
• Pragmatic EMI and RF testing experience preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Technical lead for electrical system design and subsystem procurements.
• Create and maintain electrical architectures collaborating with internal teams and customers.
• Perform system optimization trades, analyzing system performance and maintaining technical budgets.
• Engage with internal teams and customers to craft and manage system specifications and verification techniques.
• Provide support to program management and product management, liaising with customers for smooth program execution.
• Conduct inspections and reviews of engineering documents and hardware.
• Support test planning and participate in integration and test campaigns at the spacecraft manufacturer site.

Mission Objectives

Mission Mandates

• ActiveTopSecret clearance isrequiredwith theability to obtainSensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance isrequired.
• Preference will be given tocandidates with a DoD or Intelligence Community Top Secret background investigation with at least 3 years of eligibilityremainingor CE status; and SCI eligibility with current experience in SCI programs and/or Special Access Programs
• Mus be a US Citizen
