Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Electrical Engineering Systems Architect to join the Glide Phase Interceptor (GPI) team. You will work on cradle-to-grave engineering across multiple electrical subsystems, contributing to new interceptor capabilities and supporting defense programs.

You will write requirements, analyze designs, lead tests, and collaborate with IPTs, software and hardware teams to ensure robust interfaces and reliable performance in complex embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Broad understanding and application of electrical engineering standards.
• Understand system integration into existing government launch systems.
• Prepare and present electrical engineering materials for design reviews.
• Perform testing to characterize off-nominal behavior of components.
• Develop electrical architectures including power distribution and grounding.
