Job summary

AWS is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to optimize performance, cost, and reliability of our data center component supply chain. You will forecast demand, manage allocations across multiple manufacturers and suppliers, and drive improvements with HW Engineering and analytics teams.

You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, and operations managers, delivering world-class infrastructure with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of program, project or product management experience
• 8+ years of data analysis experience with Excel/Tableau/SQL
• 8+ years of high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing experience
• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience in global supply chain management with cross-functional teams
• Experience in program, project or product management or leading product implementation

Responsibilities

• Forecast generation and demand planning
• Allocations of AWS material from inventory hubs to suppliers
• Requirements and specification reviews with Hardware Engineering
• Ocean, air, and ground transportation planning
• Supply heatmap generation
• Develop analytical tools and dashboards to track metrics and SLAs
• Produce written recommendations to inform stakeholders
