EEI is a leading employee-owned facility and energy consulting firm seeking a Sr. Electrical Specialist to lead complex commissioning, testing, and documentation for data centers and mission-critical facilities. You will guide field execution, review results, and mentor colleagues to ensure reliable, high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, contractors, and project teams, and requires comfort with field challenges, safety, and rapid delivery in critical environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in electrical systems and commissioning.
• Advanced knowledge of power distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, PDUs.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, sequences of operation, and test data.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and building operations.
• Ability to lead commissioning activities and guide field execution.
• Strong troubleshooting, QA, communication, documentation, coordination, and teamwork.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and commissioning tools or project software.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex commissioning, testing, and verification activities for electrical systems supporting mission-critical facilities and data centers.
• Guide field execution, functional performance testing, startup support, and closeout activities across assigned electrical scopes.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical system issues and drive practical resolution with project teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, trend data, test results, and system information to evaluate readiness and performance.
• Communicate commissioning status, risks, findings, and recommendations clearly with clients, contractors, and internal project teams.
• Mentor Electrical Specialists and Electrical Support team members through field coaching, documentation review, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to safe, reliable, and high-quality project delivery in fast-paced mission-critical environments.
