Job summary

Pacifico Energy LLC is seeking an Electrical QA Inspector to support the Cedar Creek power project in Nebraska. The role focuses on inspecting switchgear, transformers, cables, terminations and grounding, including verification before burial.

You will review test records, participate in client hold points, and drive closure of nonconformances. Candidates should have 7+ years of electrical inspection in power plants and NFPA 70/NETA knowledge, with hands-on MV equipment experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years inspecting electrical installation on power plants.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70 and NETA testing standards.
• Hands-on experience with medium voltage equipment installation.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification.
• Technical qualification, or equivalent years of field experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect switchgear, transformer and busduct installation.
• Verify cable installation, segregation, terminations and megger results.
• Inspect grounding and bonding systems before they are buried.
• Review factory test reports and site test records.
• Attend client hold points and record findings.
• Raise and drive closure of nonconformances.
