Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead electrical and mission-critical construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, profitability, and on-time delivery.

You will plan, staff, and coordinate activities with stakeholders, reporting to the Operations Manager. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of project management experience in the electrical field, a Bachelor’s in Construction Management (or equivalent), and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in electrical construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; tech-savvy.
• Experience supervising diverse crews on mission-critical projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and staff electrical and mission critical construction projects, ensuring profitable, timely, and high-quality delivery.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities, network, and maintain customer relationships.
• Oversee multiple projects, providing on-site supervision of various roles.
• Review project documents, plans and specifications; direct construction activities; resolve difficulties; coordinate field installations and closings.
• Visit jobsites to interact with crew, customers, foremen, and general contractors, ensuring progress and safety.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring project cost, time and quality standards.
