IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Lithia Springs, GA seeks a Senior Electrical Project Manager for data center projects.

You will lead multi-discipline teams, manage budgets and schedules, and drive project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. Responsibilities include managing contracts, bids, takeoffs, and changes, ensuring NEC/OSHA compliance, coordinating with clients and vendors, and reporting financial performance to the Project Executive.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical construction project management experience across $20–$100M projects
• Data Center experience required; hyperscale data center experience preferred
• Journeyman or Master Electrical License preferred
• Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and project tracking

Responsibilities

• Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more Data Center electrical projects
• Manages projects to exceed customer expectations and adheres to NEC and OSHA requirements
• Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards
• Represents company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations
• Manages financial aspects of contracts and maintains client relationships
• Leads project team to ensure delivery meets client and company expectations
• Performs takeoffs and price changes, and quotes
• Collaborates with Project Executive for tracking and financial reporting
• Work performed at the project site

Job Summary

• Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more Data Center electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a particular Client, group of Clients or geographical area.
• Manages projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to NEC, company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements.
• Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
• Represents company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations, strategy meetings.
• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintains good relationship with clients.
• Manages the project team to ensure that project delivery meets the expectations of the client as well as IES.
• Performs takeoffs and price change orders and project related quotes.
• Works closely with the Project Executive to ensure accurate tracking and financial reporting.
• Work required to be performed at the Project Site.

Qualifications

• 8 or more years’ electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects $20-$100M including mission critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.
• Bachelor's Degree engineering or construction management preferred
• Data Center experience is required.
• Hyperscale Data Center experience preferred.
• Valid Electrical License on the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
• Proficientcomputer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
• Detailed understanding of electrical estimating, budgeting, scheduling and project tracking.
• Detailed understanding of billing and financial reporting.
• Business knowledge of vendors in respective electrical construction industry.
• Proficient in Accubid, Blue Beam, Procore, CX Alloy, BIM360, MS Project, P6 and other industry standard software.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check.
