Thorsonbaker is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design systems for senior living and commercial buildings. Responsibilities include managing project teams, preparing construction documents, and coordinating with clients and architects throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in electrical design, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. The position offers flexible working hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical design for buildings.
• Engineering Intern certification required, Professional engineering license preferred.
• Capable of engaging positively in meetings.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for various projects.
• Manage project and design engineers, maintaining quality control.
• Communicate with architects and clients throughout design phases.
• Review construction budgets and respond to RFIs.
• Prepare cost opinions and manage construction administration.
