Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering and 10–15 years of experience in the paper industry, with strong organizational, communication, and team skills. On-site work in Virginia is expected.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 10-15 years' experience in process engineering or production in the paper industry.
• Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and follow up skills.
• Demonstrated skills in setting priorities and delegating, analytical problem solving, and facilitating in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be authorized to work in U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services to maintenance and operating department personnel to resolve maintenance, technical, and equipment reliability issues.
• Establish and maintain safe work practices and safe work environment for coworkers and employees.
• Supervise mill and contract employees as required.
• Ensure equipment files and databases are maintained and understand equipment operation to determine maintenance needs.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance procedures to ensure equipment availability.
• Prepare scope and cost estimate for assigned projects.
• Design and implement approved projects.
• Monitor and control project scope, schedule and cost.
• Coordinate project commissioning and start-up.
