Wiley|Wilson is seeking a Professional Electrical Engineer to join our 100% employee-owned firm. You will design and implement complex electrical systems for diverse facilities, lead project teams, and collaborate with architects and other engineers.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia or eligibility by reciprocity within 3 months.
• Experience in building system design: power distribution, lighting, grounding, and UPS/efficiency systems.
• Familiar with ETAP/SKM/AGI and sustainable design practices.

Responsibilities

• Utilize experience to solve complex problems while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering disciplines, project managers, and contractors.
• Lead project teams delivering comprehensive engineering design packages for federal, state, local, commercial, industrial clients and universities.
• Provide oversight to junior engineers and designers, including training.
• Support construction and commissioning activities with clear communication to teams and clients.
• Coordinate cross-office electrical work to improve standards and perform load flow, short-circuit, and voltage drop analyses.
