FORTNA is seeking a Senior Electrical Program Engineer in Mount Washington, Kentucky. This role will provide electrical engineering expertise on complex projects, ensuring standards are met while acting as a liaison between teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and relevant experience, with a starting salary ranging from $87,600 to $131,300 based on qualifications.

The Senior Electrical Program Engineer (SEPE) provides electrical engineering expertise during the pre-award phase of complex engineering projects, focusing on standardization, modularization, and alignment with Amazon’s technical and operational needs. They ensure scope, schedules, and budgets meet organizational standards and Amazon’s expectations. Acting as the primary technical liaison, the SEPE facilitates communication between engineering, sales, and Amazon teams to support project execution. During project handover, the SEPE prepares risk assessments, identifies opportunities, and shares lessons learned to guide execution. They create Amazon specification packages, conduct periodic audits, and provide recommendations to maintain project success. Additionally, they lead multi-discipline Project Design Reviews and collaborate with the Training team to develop and deliver Amazon specific technical training materials.
Engineering Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent engineering program) from an accredited college with 6+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Base salary range: $87,600 to $131,300. The actual offer may vary based on location, level, qualifications, and performance.
Travel expectations of 10%–25% to various job site locations and offices.
