Huhtamaki is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support Waterville, Maine operations. The role involves designing, installing, and starting up electrical and process control systems, along with capital project management and ongoing maintenance to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The position requires 3+ years in a manufacturing environment, with PLC and DCS experience, and knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NEC standards. Strong communication and mechanical aptitude are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience designing equipment and control systems utilizing PLCs and DCS.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, estimate, install and startup electrical and process control systems.
• Provide daily technical support to Waterville operations.
• Manage capital projects related to electrical and process control systems.
• Develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance practices for electrical/process control infrastructure.
• Manage contractor deliverables, cost control and safety for project work.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (OSHA, NFPA, NEC).
