Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in electrical estimating, subcontracting, or electrical preconstruction
• Deep knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and production rates across electrical scopes
• Strong knowledge of electrical vendor and subcontractor markets with established relationships
• Experience developing conceptual/schematic-level budgets and estimates on large or complex projects
• Strong analytical skills for organizing and maintaining historical cost data and benchmarking
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Serve as the electrical SME for preconstruction across regions
• Develop conceptual and schematic electrical budgets to support pursuit strategy and owner/design conversations
• Validate electrical scope, pricing assumptions, and risk areas on large projects
• Refine procurement strategies including trade packaging and bid leveling support
• Advise on electrical market conditions, production rates, and buyout strategy
• Maintain relationships with electrical trade partners and vendors across company-wide projects
• Develop and deliver internal training on electrical systems and budgeting
• Capture historical cost data and benchmarking metrics to improve estimates
• Participate in project reviews and risk assessment meetings as electrical advisor
• Stay current on electrical costs, codes, technologies, and market trends
