Credence seeks a Senior Electrical Power & Wiring Engineer to support the ISR/SOF Directorate at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Adhering to DoDD 5000.1 and 5000.2R, along with HQ AFMC and AFLCMC policies, for SOF acquisition engineering tasks.
  • Developing system concepts and performing trade-off studies on proposed designs.
  • Providing technical support in defining system requirements, translating them into design criteria, and evaluating design approaches.
  • Supporting system performance requirements development, objectives, and integration efforts.
  • Applying engineering expertise to solve complex design and development problems, including program management principles and acquisition regulations.
  • Conducting analyses to determine performance objectives and system integration issues.
  • Developing, implementing, and documenting projects; evaluating procedures; supporting reviews; and preparing reports and briefings.
  • Performing airworthiness determinations and related certification activities.
  • Conducting modeling and analysis of modifications on SOF platforms' survivability.
  • Communicating risks, issues, and recommendations to the government.
  • Guiding propulsion system development, deployment, and maintenance documentation.
  • Supporting design, development, and integration of electronic sensors, signature reduction tech, and avionics for aircraft survivability.
  • Reviewing specifications and conducting systems analyses for program support.
  • Evaluating operational requirements, risks, and technical documents.
  • Participating in design reviews, configuration boards, and other program meetings.
  • Supporting source selections and developing engineering documentation for programs.
  • Providing mechanical engineering support for electrical power systems, including analysis and performance evaluation.
Education, Requirements, and Qualifications
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience, including 5 in DoD, or
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years, including 5 in DoD, or
  • 15+ years of relevant experience, including 8 in DoD.
  • Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering concepts, standards, and practices.
