Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer I for the Voyager Lunar Systems project based in Pittsburgh, PA. The role is hybrid and focuses on avionics and power system analysis for spacecraft missions to assess design margin, risk, and compatibility.

You will work under the Electronic Systems Manager in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, contributing to critical mission objectives and high-reliability space engineering goals.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of professional experience in power systems development for mission-critical aerospace/defense.
• Ability to carry out complicated analysis tasks and synthesize results.
• B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform power and avionics design and analysis for mission concepts, sizing the power architecture to meet objectives.
• Develop and perform trade studies to support decisions.
• Support development of component specifications and system-level requirements.
• Support spacecraft power component testing and system integration.
• Coordinate with partners, vendors, and engineers to assess progress, schedule, and risks.
• Provide real-time operational support from mission control center.
