Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Sr I for our Pendleton, SC location. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 5+ years in manufacturing process improvement to support life cycle development of Class I–III medical devices.

You will lead projects, introduce new equipment and processes, develop work instructions, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations at the Pendleton site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• 5 years of manufacturing process improvement experience required.
• Experienced in leading process improvement projects.
• Medical device manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in workflow optimization, work measurement, efficiencies.
• Recognized process improvement training (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams to identify issues and risks during new product development.
• Develop a continuous improvement culture, skills sets and tools to enhance quality and operational excellence.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and introduce new equipment, products, and processes.
• Present recommendations to Leadership Team with clear project plans.
• Develop manufacturing work instructions and provide process support.
• Monitor timelines and ensure adherence to project plans for process development.
• Stay current with methods used in the medical device industry to advance technologies.
