Job summary

Samsung HME America is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Electrical) to sustain and advance electrical engineering efforts for Danvers, MA-based mCT systems. You will lead manufacturing quality issues, coordinate with R&D, Quality, and operations, and drive process improvements and regulatory compliance across the product life cycle.

The role requires strong leadership, PCB troubleshooting skills, and deep knowledge of medical device regulations (510(k)).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; advanced degree preferred for leadership roles.
• Strong experience in electrical engineering within capital medical equipment manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead projects in manufacturing and navigate regulatory requirements (e.g., 510(k)).
• Experience with PCB troubleshooting, schematics understanding, and design validation.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support for mCT manufacturing and sustaining engineering.
• Lead root-cause investigations and MRB activities with Quality.
• Validate components, systems, and process changes for performance and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards during audits.
